Forbes Middle East, an American business magazine operating in the Middle East, has issued this month a list that contains the 50 Most Active Investors in the Arab World, including North Africa and the Middle East. The ranking features, Maroc Numeric Fund, the first Moroccan firm specialized in seed, startup and growth capital investments, which was positioned 34th.

According to the Magazine, the Moroccan company is a venture capitalist with an estimated investment of USD 5.4 million. It is the only startup based in the Kingdom that made it to the list provided by researchers, Ahmed Mabrouk, Ranju Warrier, Jason Lasrado.

On the other hand, the list was topped by startups mostly from Gulf countries. Wanda Capital, an Emirati leading venture capital firm investing in exceptional entrepreneurs was in the head of the ranking followed by MEVP, a firm from the UAE that invests in the early and growth stages of innovative companies.

RAED Ventures, a Saudi firm that provides funding for the seed and early stage startups in KSA and MENA, is ranked third ahead of MENA Ventures Investments headquartered in the UAE and which deals with early stage startups with strong growth potential in the Middle East and North Africa. In the fifth position comes Arzan VC from Kuwait which focuses on the same market.
