26.36.قَالُوا أَرْجِهِ وَأَخَاهُ وَابْعَثْ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ

26.36. – «Remets-le à plus tard, lui et son frère, dirent-ils, et envoie dans les villes des messagers,

26.36 . They said : Put him off , ( him ) and his brother , and send them into the cities summoners

26.36. Qaloo arjih waakhahu waibAAath fee almada-ini hashireena

26.37.يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ

26.37. pour t'amener les magiciens les plus habiles.»

26.37 . Who shall bring unto thee every knowing wizard .

26.37. Ya/tooka bikulli sahharin AAaleemin

26.38.فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

26.38. Et les magiciens furent ainsi réunis au jour et au moment fixés.

26.38 . So the wizards were gathered together at a set time on a day appointed .

26.38. FajumiAAa alssaharatu limeeqati yawmin maAAloomin

26.39.وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّجْتَمِعُونَ

26.39. Et il fut dit aux gens : «Voudriez-vous vous réunir,

26.39 . And it was said unto the people : Are ye ( also ) gathering?

26.39. Waqeela lilnnasi hal antum mujtamiAAoona

26.40.لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ

26.40. afin que nous suivions les magiciens, si ce sont eux les vainqueurs?»

26.40 . ( They said ) : Aye , so that we may follow the wizards if they are the winners .

26.40. LaAAallana nattabiAAu alssaharata in kanoo humu alghalibeena
