Salam simpelrifia ,

Chukran for your message.
Thanks to sbs2000, I found some Moroccans in FB.
I am going to Australia because I am quite 'bored' with my job and I wanted to travel.
Why Australia...I heard that it's a nice country to visit, lot of things to see. So why not.
So I decided to apply for a work holiday visa for one year.
Love not yet...smiling smiley maybe in Australia

have a nice day.

assalamoalaikom najmae,
i'm a new member and would like to post my 1st comment here,

for sure Australia is one of a marvellous countries in the world. Amazing sightseeings and so...., in brief lots of things to discover. I just would like to know how are you going to apply for your visa knowing there's no Australian ambassy or consulate in our country? then did you think of your itenarary? I mean your plans to book your flight? you know there's no direct flight from Morocco to Australia which means that you need to transit somewhere in Europe. you need also to think about transit visa if you are going to stop at EU airport unless you book with a golf company. don't forget to get enough info regarding climate as winter time over there clashes with our summer time. more info regarding the country's culture, habits, customs will allow you to get in touch with Aus citizens and understand there way of acting and thinking very quickly.....
good luck
all the best

Anyway your tips are helpful. For the moment I did not yet fix my departure day and aslo my arrival city.
I am at the moment, looking for all the informations needed, for contacts whom I can catch up with for a drink or a chat or a visit of their city.

Good morning Brothers and sisters, How are you all doing ?. Well, i am sure that you do not know me yet but i am here to share my story with you. i am a Moroccan man. The reason i got on yabiladi is that i have been looking for Moroccans who live in Australia. I am married to an Australian woman and inshallah will be travelling soon to be with her as the decision to be granted the visa was taken on the 15 of February ( last month ) . Now, i want to know about the process to get the visa as you know, here in Morocco, we do not have neither an Australian embassy nor consulat,..and about the time left to get it,,, are they going to ask me to travel to Egypt or to france or to get or they will have to send it to me to the Canadian Embassy in Rabat where i will have to go to get it..i will be more than happy to hear back from you.
Regards,
Hicham

Wa aalaikom Salam
am not ur brother am ur sister smiling smiley
u said 3years...?!!! What for?u said u married with Australian normaly it takes maximum 6 to 8 months, unless she is not working in that case it takes long or the immigration asks her for money it's about 20thousand aud,but once u spend 2years here with her without any problems and u get ur permanent residency they gonna give her money back, believe me 3years it's very long time either she is not working or she doesn't want to put money in the immigration under ur name, but it's good news cause they ask u about medical and character checks,u have to go to Rabat to see doctor mandouri I think it costs u about 1500 Dirham, and also he will ask u about some ultrasound and test blood,it's routine nothing to worry about,
am not gonna say nothing about Australia but u gonna discover it by urself, good luck mate winking smiley
