(AGI) - Rome, 11 Aug - Ten of the twelve players in Morocco's national university seven aside rugby team that recently took part in a tournament in Italy have disappeared. The news was announced by local newspaper 'Le Matin'. The ten players are said to have left the team on the day after the final of the tournament, played in the capital from 4 to 6 August (a tournament in which, for the record, Morocco came last). "They are university students, two of whom had just graduated" said Mohamed Sibari, secretary general of the Moroccan University Sporting Federation, to the newspaper. The players had taken advantage of a three month preparatory stage in our country: "during the whole of the time of the stage - Sibari explained - we explained to them the consequences of such a step, but it seems that they were determined to illegally emigrate" (they were to leave their passports with their official escort). "This type of 'escape' by sportsmen - Le Matin admits - is not the first of its kind. Recently, a considerable number of similar incidents have been recorded". (AGI) .

Yep a sad story,

But when you see the number of the athlets and sportsman that changed their country to play or to wear a european color, then you understand why they just left the moroccan colors.

It is sad.

This is not a case of swapping jerseys. They find a better way to cross to Europe without risking their lives on a raft torn to pieces. They didn't take their passports with them, which means that they don't intend to return to Morocco, or have any link with it anymore. Too sad for us. But it's their chance to start a new life. Whether they'll have a better life in Europe, only time will tell! some are lucky and some are not. Some become prosperous businessmen, others end up on the streets.
This is just to show that the moroccan youth is not happy at home, no matter if they are illiterate or not.

When you don't carry the passport with you. it means it will be hard by the immigration or any other government body to know exactly your origin, how would they know where you are from?
