Also the salary is among the highst in the world,because there is a big demand of skilled Engineers. Another benefit is that you get tax rebate the first 3 years. What kind of Engineer are you?
Your choice! Scandinavia is not islamofobic and I have lived here my whole life. France is way more islamofobic, they don´t even let woman wear the hijab in public schools. In scandinavia you can wear it where ver you whant even in the parlament. I have never met any racism. People are very polite and fair as long as you are not a jerk. Specialy Sweden and Finland are very great countries and the people too. I am not familiar with the title "general enginner". We normaly specialise in one specific area. Like i.e. Construction, Mechanical, software, chemical and etc. Any way, good luck out there!
