26.186.وَمَا أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ

26.186. «Es-tu autre chose qu'un homme comme nous? Nous sommes persuadés que tu n'es qu'un menteur.

26.186 . Thou art but a mortal like us , and lo! we deem thee of the liars .

26.186. Wama anta illa basharun mithluna wa-in nathunnuka lamina alkathibeena

26.187.فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفاً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

26.187. Fais donc tomber sur nous un fragment du ciel, si tu es sincère !»

26.187 . Then make fragments of the heaven fall upon us , if thou art of the truthful .

26.187. Faasqit AAalayna kisafan mina alssama-i in kunta mina alssadiqeena

26.188.قَالَ رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

26.188. Shu`ayb leur dit alors : «C'est mon Seigneur qui est le mieux renseigné de ce que vous faites.»

26.188 . He said : My Lord is best aware of what ye do .

26.188. Qala rabbee aAAlamu bima taAAmaloona

26.189.فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

26.189. Mais ils continuèrent à le traiter d'imposteur. Aussi furent-ils saisis par le châtiment du jour de la Nuée, et ce fut le châtiment terrible du grand jour.

26.189 . But they denied him , so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom . Lo! it was the retribution of an awful day .

26.189. Fakaththaboohu faakhathahum AAathabu yawmi alththullati innahu kana AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin

26.190.إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

26.190. Et il y avait bien là un enseignement , mais la plupart d'entre eux étaient incrédules.

26.190 . Lo! herein is indeed a portent ; yet most of them are not believers .
