51.36.فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

51.36. mais Nous n'y trouvâmes qu'une seule famille de croyants.

51.36 . But We found there but one house of those surrendered ( to Allah ) .

51.36. Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena

51.37.وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آيَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ

51.37. Et Nous y laissâmes un signe pour ceux qui redoutent le châtiment douloureux.

51.37 . And We left behind therein a portent for those who fear a painful doom .

51.37. Watarakna feeha ayatan lillatheena yakhafoona alAAathaba al-aleema

51.38.وَفِي مُوسَى إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

51.38. Il y a aussi un signe dans la mission de Moïse quand Nous l'envoyâmes auprès de Pharaon, muni d'un pouvoir évident.

51.38 . And in Moses ( too , there is a portent ) when We sent him unto Pharaoh with clear warrant ,

51.38. Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin

51.39.فَتَوَلَّى بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ

51.39. Mais Pharaon, confiant en sa puissance, se détourna de lui, en disant : «C'est sûrement un sorcier ou un possédé !»

51.39 . But he withdrew ( confiding ) in his might , and said : A wizard or a madman .

51.39. Fatawalla biruknihi waqala sahirun aw majnoonun

51.40.فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ

51.40. Nous le saisîmes alors, lui et ses armées, et les jetâmes dans les flots, en punition de son blâmable comportement.

51.40 . So We seized him and his hosts and flung them in the sea , for he was reprobate

51.40. Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun
