40.71.إِذِ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ وَالسَّلَاسِلُ يُسْحَبُونَ

40.71. quand, carcan au cou et corps enchaîné, ils seront traînés

40.71 . When carcans are about their necks and chains . They are dragged

40.71. Ithi al-aghlalu fee aAAnaqihim waalssalasilu yushaboona

40.72.فِي الْحَمِيمِ ثُمَّ فِي النَّارِ يُسْجَرُونَ

40.72. dans l'eau bouillante, puis jetés en pâture à l'Enfer.

40.72 . Through boiling waters ; then they are thrust into the Fire .

40.72. Fee alhameemi thumma fee alnnari yusjaroona

40.73.ثُمَّ قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ

40.73. Puis il leur sera dit : «Où sont donc les idoles que vous associiez

40.73 . Then it is said unto them : Where are ( all ) that ye used to make partners ( in the Sovereignty )

40.73. Thumma qeela lahum ayna ma kuntum tushrikoona

40.74.مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُو مِن قَبْلُ شَيْئاً كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ

40.74. à Dieu?» Ils répondront : «Nous ne savons plus où elles sont passées, ou plutôt nous n'adorions que le néant !» C'est ainsi que Dieu égare les négateurs.

40.74 . Beside Allah? They say : They have failed us : but we used not to pray to anything before . Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers ( in His guidance ) .

40.74. Min dooni Allahi qaloo dalloo AAanna bal lam nakun nadAAoo min qablu shay-an kathalika yudillu Allahu alkafireena

40.75.ذَلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ

40.75. Et il leur sera dit : «Telle est la rétribution de vos réjouissances insensées sur Terre et de l'orgueil exubérant que vous affichiez sans pudeur.

40.75 . ( And it is said unto them ) : This is because ye exulted in the earth without right , and because ye were petulant .

40.75. Thalikum bima kuntum tafrahoona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi wabima kuntum tamrahoona
