2.1. Alif - Lâm - Mîm.
2.1 . Alif . Lam . Mim .

ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
2.2. Thalika alkitabu la rayba feehi hudan lilmuttaqeena
2.2. Voici le Livre qui n’est sujet à aucun doute. C’est un guide pour ceux qui craignent le Seigneur ,
2.2 . This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt , a guidance unto those who ward off ( evil ) .

الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ
2.3. Allatheena yu/minoona bialghaybi wayuqeemoona alssalata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona
2.3. ceux qui croient à l’invisible, qui s’acquittent de la salât et qui effectuent des œuvres charitables sur les biens que Nous leur avons accordés ,
2.3 . Who believe in the unseen , and establish worship , and spend of that We have bestowed upon them ;

والَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
2.4. Waallatheena yu/minoona bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika wabial-akhirati hum yooqinoona
2.4. ceux qui tiennent pour vrai ce qui a été révélé à toi et à tes prédécesseurs et qui croient fermement à la vie future.
2.4 . And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee ( Muhammad ) and that which was revealed before thee , and are certain of the Hereafter .

أُوْلَـئِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
2.5. Ola-ika AAala hudan min rabbihim waola-ika humu almuflihoona
2.5. Ce sont ceux-là qui suivent la voie tracée par le Seigneur , ce sont ceux-là qui connaîtront le vrai bonheur.
2.5 . These depend on guidance from their Lord . These are the successful .

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ
2.6. Inna allatheena kafaroo sawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am lam tunthirhum la yu/minoona
2.6. Quant aux infidèles, il leur est égal que tu les avertisses ou que tu ne les avertisses pas. Ils sont rebelles à toute croyance,
2.6 . As for the disbelievers , whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them ; they believe not .

خَتَمَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عظِيمٌ
2.7. Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihim waAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatun walahum AAathabun AAatheemun
2.7. et Dieu a scellé leur cœur et leur entendement. De même qu’un voile leur barre la vue, et ils sont voués à un terrible châtiment.
2.7 . Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts , and on their eyes there is a covering . Theirs will be an awful doom .

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
2.8. Wamina alnnasi man yaqoolu amanna biAllahi wabialyawmi al-akhiri wama hum bimu/mineena
2.8. D’aucuns parmi les hommes disent : «Nous croyons en Dieu et au Jour dernier», alors qu’ils ne sont pas croyants.
2.8 . And of mankind are some who say : We believe in Allah and the Last Day , when they believe not .

يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُم وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
2.9. YukhadiAAoona Allaha waallatheena amanoo wama yakhdaAAoona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona
2.9. Ils cherchent seulement à tromper Dieu et les véritables croyants, mais en réalité ils ne trompent qu’eux-mêmes, sans en avoir conscience.
2.9 . They think to beguile Allah and those who believe , and they beguile nonesave themselves ; but they perceive not .

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ
2.10. Fee quloobihim maradun fazadahumu Allahu maradan walahum AAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakthiboona
2.10. Ces gens-là ont le cœur rongé par un mal profond que Dieu laisse s’aggraver , de même qu’un châtiment douloureux leur sera infligé, pour prix de leur mensonge,
2.10 . In their hearts is a disease , and Allah increaseth their disease . A painful doom theirs because they lie .
