74.46.وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

74.46. Nous traitions de mensonge le Jugement dernier

74.46 . And we used to deny the Day of Judgment ,

74.46. Wakunna nukaththibu biyawmi alddeeni

74.47.حَتَّى أَتَانَا الْيَقِينُ

74.47. jusqu'à ce que nous en eussions acquis la certitude.»

74.47 . Till the inevitable came unto us .

74.47. Hatta atana alyaqeenu

74.48.فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمْ شَفَاعَةُ الشَّافِعِينَ

74.48. Désormais toute intercession en leur faveur sera vaine.

74.48 . The mediation of no mediators will . avail them then .

74.48. Fama tanfaAAuhum shafaAAatu alshshafiAAeena

74.49.فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ التَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِينَ

74.49. Qu'ont-ils donc à se détourner du rappel?

74.49 . Why now turn they away from the Admonishment

74.49. Fama lahum AAani alttathkirati muAArideena

74.50.كَأَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌ مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌ

74.50. On dirait des onagres pris de panique,

74.50 . As they were frightened asses

74.50. Kaannahum humurun mustanfiratun
