Assalaamu aleikkum wa rahmathullahi wa barakathuhu

Hi how r u my dearest brothers and sister. I hope allah keep u all safe.

Recently,i have seen (slm,salm,wrwb,asmk,etc....)such words in many islamic forum/blogspot.can any one of u tell me what do u all mean by such words.

Pls don't reply that slm means assalamu aleikkum.the actual meaning of assalamu aleikkum is peace be upon you,but the word slm cannot become equal to assalamu aleikkum.

Is this way prophet mohamed sallalalaahu alaihi wasalaam, taught us?

There is no wrong to use these words( pls,wat,f5n,wen,etc.....) but if we use short forms of the words thaught by prophet mohamed sallalalaahu alaihi wasalaam, then the meaning of entire word will be changed.

If my words hurt any any one of you ,please forgive me for allah's sake.

In shaa allah i hope u Would follow this if u feel my suggestion is right or correct me if am wrong.

Fine thank you grinning smiley Amine.

You're right, slm/salam doesn't mean anything but we have bad habits, we write salam because is short and we are reluctant to write all the sentence.

Is this way prophet mohamed sallalalaahu alaihi wasalaam, taught us? I don't think that. We have to say the greeting completely because, once again, it hasn't the same meaning.

There is no wrong to use these words( pls,wat,f5n,wen,etc.....) but if we use short forms of the words thaught by prophet mohamed sallalalaahu alaihi wasalaam, then the meaning of entire word will be changed.

I hope that I answered to your questions and forgive me for my english confused smiley

Slm alk

The important it's not the way it's written but the way it's understood.

It's like the accents, the way a Pakistan talks than a british is different but the result os the same.

Sorry If i make mistakes my english isn't very well

Bye Maak salama .

Assalamu 'aleikum.

Oustada : Barakallahu fiki sister. I'm happy that you understood, and your english is very well! You have written better than me alhamdulillah.

Fcb10 : Barakallahu fik brother. There is much difference between accents and short forms of islamic words. I want to cite an example, to make you understand better.
We should not write it as "InshaAllah" or "Inshallah", because it means "Create Allah" (Na'oodhunillah). Weather arabic or english. We have to make sure to write it properly as "In Shaa Allah" in 3 separate words. It means "Allah wills". So make sure what you write is correct.

By the way you have given your reply in the best way in english.

Chupachupsyeah : barakallahufiki sister.

If my words hurt any one of you, please forgive me for allah's sake.
