How about capturing SO2 and converting it to sulfuric acid ( SO2 is very reactive to lead H2SO4) . Sulfuric acid can be used to treat phosphates in the neighbour plant to produce phosphoric acid. Moroccan scientists should be innovative to come up with solutions. The OCP has been focusing on bringing french know-how for all its activities. How about creating a Moroccan know-how by investing in chemical research and chemical engineering.
