85.1.وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ

85.1. Par le ciel orné de constellations !

85.1 . By the heaven , holding mansions of the stars ,

85.1. Waalssama-i thati alburooji

85.2.وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ

85.2. Par le Jour prédit de la Résurrection !

85.2 . And by the Promised Day .

85.2. Waalyawmi almawAAoodi

85.3.وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ

85.3. Par les témoins qui, ce jour-là, se présenteront ainsi que ceux contre qui ils témoigneront !

85.3 . And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony ,

85.3. Washahidin wamashhoodin

85.4.قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ

85.4. Maudits soient les gens de la Fosse ardente,

85.4 . ( Self ) destroyed were the owners of the ditch

85.4. Qutila as-habu alukhdoodi

85.5.النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ

85.5. au feu sans cesse renouvelé,

85.5 . Of the fuel fed fire ,
