75.31.فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّى

75.31. alors qu'il n'a ni cru ni prié ,

75.31 . For he neither trusted , nor prayed

75.31. Fala saddaqa wala salla

75.32.وَلَكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى

75.32. mais a traité la Révélation de mensonge et s'en est détourné,

75.32 . But he denied and flouted .

75.32. Walakin kaththaba watawalla

75.33.ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى

75.33. pour s'en aller vers les siens en se dandinant avec fierté.

75.33 . Then went he to his folk with glee .

75.33. Thumma thahaba ila ahlihi yatamatta

75.34.أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى

75.34. «Malheur à toi ! Malheur !»

75.34 . Nearer unto thee and nearer ,

75.34. Awla laka faawla

75.35.ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى

75.35. Et encore une fois : «Malheur à toi ! Malheur !»

75.35 . Again nearer unto thee and nearer ( is the doom ) .

75.35. Thumma awla laka faawla
