28.2 . These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain .

28.2. Tilka ayatu alkitabi almubeeni

28.3.نَتْلُوا عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَى وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِالْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

28.3. Nous allons te raconter en toute vérité, à l'intention des croyants, une partie de l'histoire de Moïse et de Pharaon.

28.3 . We narrate unto thee ( somewhat ) of the story of Moses and Pharaoh with truth , for folk who believe .

28.3. Natloo AAalayka min naba-i moosa wafirAAawna bialhaqqi liqawmin yu/minoona

28.4.إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعاً يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَائِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَاءهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

28.4. Pharaon se comportait en desposte dans le pays. Il avait réparti ses habitants en clans et en opprimait une partie en mettant à mort leurs fils et en ne laissant en vie que leurs filles, car c'était un être malfaisant.

28.4 . Lo! Pharaoh exalted himself in the earth and made its people castes . A tribe among them he suppressed , killing their sons and sparing their women . Lo! he was of those who work corruption .

28.4. Inna firAAawna AAala fee al-ardi wajaAAala ahlaha shiyaAAan yastadAAifu ta-ifatan minhum yuthabbihu abnaahum wayastahyee nisaahum innahu kana mina almufsideena

28.5.وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ

28.5. Or, Nous voulions apporter Notre aide à ces opprimés sur Terre, pour faire d'eux des dirigeants et des héritiers,

28.5 . And We desired to show favor unto those who were oppressed in the earth , and to make them examples and to make them the inheritors ,

28.5. Wanureedu an namunna AAala allatheena istudAAifoo fee al-ardi wanajAAalahum a-immatan wanajAAalahumu alwaritheena
