24.36.فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ

24.36. C'est cette lumière qui éclaire les temples que Dieu a permis d'élever afin que Son Nom y soit invoqué, et où Le glorifient, matin et soir,

24.36 . ( This lamp is found ) in houses which Allah hath allowed to be exalted and that His name shall be remembered therein . Therein do offer praise to Him at morn and evening

24.36. Fee buyootin athina Allahu an turfaAAa wayuthkara feeha ismuhu yusabbihu lahu feeha bialghuduwwi waal-asali

24.37.رِجَالٌ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاء الزَّكَاةِ يَخَافُونَ يَوْماً تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ

24.37. des hommes qu'aucun négoce ni transaction ne détournent de la joie d'exalter le Seigneur, d'accomplir la salât ou de faire l'aumône zakât, car ces hommes redoutent un jour où les cœurs seront bouleversés et les regards annihilés d'épouvante,

24.37 . Men whom neither merchandise nor sale beguileth from remembrance of Allah and constancy in prayer and paying to the poor their due ; who fear a day when hearts and eyeballs will be overturned ;

24.37. Rijalun la tulheehim tijaratun wala bayAAun AAan thikri Allahi wa-iqami alssalati wa-eeta-i alzzakati yakhafoona yawman tataqallabu feehi alquloobu waal-absaru

24.38.لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

24.38. dans l'espoir que Dieu les récompensera pour le meilleur de ce qu'ils auront accompli et leur accordera un surcroît de Sa grâce, car Dieu dispense Ses bienfaits à qui Il veut sans compter.

24.38 . That Allah may reward them with the best of what they did , and increase reward for them of His bounty . Allah giveth blessings without stint to whom He will .

24.38. Liyajziyahumu Allahu ahsana ma AAamiloo wayazeedahum min fadlihi waAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin

24.39.وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاء حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئاً وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

24.39. Quant aux œuvres des négateurs, elles sont semblables à un mirage du désert que l'homme assoiffé prend pour de l'eau , mais quand il y arrive, il s'aperçoit qu'il n'en est rien. Ce qu'il trouve, c'est Dieu qui lui donne ce à quoi il a droit, car Dieu est prompt dans Ses comptes.

24.39 . As for those who disbelieve , their deeds are as a mirage in a desert . The thirsty one supposeth it to be water till he cometh unto it and findeth it naught , and findeth , in the place thereof , Allah , Who payeth him his due ; and Allah is swift at reckoning .

24.39. Waallatheena kafaroo aAAmaluhum kasarabin biqeeAAatin yahsabuhu alththam-anu maan hatta itha jaahu lam yajidhu shay-an wawajada Allaha AAindahu fawaffahu hisabahu waAllahu sareeAAu alhisabi

24.40.أَوْ كَظُلُمَاتٍ فِي بَحْرٍ لُّجِّيٍّ يَغْشَاهُ مَوْجٌ مِّن فَوْقِهِ مَوْجٌ مِّن فَوْقِهِ سَحَابٌ ظُلُمَاتٌ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ إِذَا أَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرَاهَا وَمَن لَّمْ يَجْعَلِ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُوراً فَمَا لَهُ مِن نُّورٍ

24.40. Leurs œuvres sont encore semblables à des ténèbres entassées au-dessus d'une mer profonde où des flots tumultueux se chevauchent et s'entrechoquent , ténèbres si épaisses et si sombres qu'un homme qui y étend la main peut à peine l'apercevoir. C'est ainsi que celui que Dieu n'a pas pourvu de lumière ne la trouvera nulle part.

24.40 . Or as darkness on a vast , abysmal sea . There covereth him a wave , above which is a wave , above which is a cloud . Layer upon layer of darkness . When he holdeth out his hand he scarce can see it . And he for whom Allah hath not appointed light , for him there is no light .

24.40. Aw kathulumatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshahu mawjun min fawqihi mawjun min fawqihi sahabun thulumatun baAAduha fawqa baAAdin itha akhraja yadahu lam yakad yaraha waman lam yajAAali Allahu lahu nooran fama lahu min noorin
