20.41.وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي

20.41. Je t'ai choisi pour servir Ma cause.

20.41 . And I have attached thee to Myself .

20.41. WaistanaAAtuka linafsee

20.42.اذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِآيَاتِي وَلَا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي

20.42. Partez, toi et ton frère, munis de Nos signes , et ne négligez pas de M'invoquer.

20.42 . Go , thou and thy brother , with My tokens , and be not faint in remembrance of Me .

20.42. Ithhab anta waakhooka bi-ayatee wala taniya fee thikree

20.43.اذْهَبَا إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى

20.43. Allez trouver Pharaon dont l'impiété ne connaît plus de limites.

20.43 . Go , both of you , unto Pharaoh . Lo! he hath transgressed ( the bounds ) .

20.43. Ithhaba ila firAAawna innahu tagha

20.44.فَقُولَا لَهُ قَوْلاً لَّيِّناً لَّعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَى

20.44. Parlez-lui un langage conciliant ! Peut-être sera-t-il amené à réfléchir ou à Me craindre.»

20.44 . And speak unto him a gentle word , that peradventure he may heed or fear .

20.44. Faqoola lahu qawlan layyinan laAAallahu yatathakkaru aw yakhsha

20.45.قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَن يَطْغَى

20.45. – «Seigneur, dirent Moïse et son frère, nous craignons qu'il ne se livre à quelques excès ou ne commette quelques brutalités à notre égard.»

20.45 . They said : Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant .

20.45. Qala rabbana innana nakhafu an yafruta AAalayna aw an yatgha
