20.111.وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْماً

20.111. Et les fronts se courberont tout bas devant l'Éternel, l'Immuable. Malheur donc à ceux qui se présenteront chargés d'iniquité !

20.111 . And faces humble themselves before the Living , the Eternal . And he who beareth ( a burden of ) wrongdoing is indeed a failure ( on that Day ) .

20.111. WaAAanati alwujoohu lilhayyi alqayyoomi waqad khaba man hamala thulman

20.112.وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْماً وَلَا هَضْماً

20.112. Celui qui aura pratiqué le bien, en étant croyant, n'aura à craindre ni injustice ni frustration.

20.112 . And he who hath done some good works , being a believer , he feareth not injustice nor begrudging ( of his wage ) .

20.112. Waman yaAAmal mina alssalihati wahuwa mu/minun fala yakhafu thulman wala hadman

20.113.وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْراً

20.113. C'est ainsi que Nous avons révélé ce Coran en langue arabe, en y multipliant les menaces, afin de susciter chez les hommes la crainte de Dieu ou de les pousser à en méditer le sens.

20.113 . Thus We have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic , and have displayed therein certain threats , that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed .

20.113. Wakathalika anzalnahu qur-anan AAarabiyyan wasarrafna feehi mina alwaAAeedi laAAallahum yattaqoona aw yuhdithu lahum thikran

20.114.فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَى إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْماً

20.114. Gloire à Dieu, le Souverain, l'Authentique ! Ne te hâte pas de répéter les versets du Coran, avant que leur révélation ne soit achevée ! Dis plutôt : «Seigneur, donne-moi encore plus de savoir !»

20.114 . Then exalted be Allah , the True King! And hasten not ( O Muhammad ) with the Quran ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee , and say : My Lord! Increase me in knowledge .

20.114. FataAAala Allahu almaliku alhaqqu wala taAAjal bialqur-ani min qabli an yuqda ilayka wahyuhu waqul rabbi zidnee AAilman

20.115.وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَا إِلَى آدَمَ مِن قَبْلُ فَنَسِيَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُ عَزْماً

20.115. Nous avions fait une recommandation à Adam avant sa chute, mais il ne l'a pas observée, faisant ainsi preuve d'un manque total de résolution.

20.115 . And verily We made a covenant of old with Adam , but he forgot , and We found no constancy in him .

20.115. Walaqad AAahidna ila adama min qablu fanasiya walam najid lahu AAazman
