2.61 . And when ye said : O Moses! We are weary of one kind of food ; so call upon thy Lord for us that he bring forth for us of that which the earth groweth of its herbs and its cucumbers and its corn and its lentils and its onions . He said : Would ye exchange that which is higher for that which is lower? Go down to settled country , thus ye shall get that which ye demand . And humiliation and wretchedness were stamped upon them and they were visited with wrath from Allah . That was because they disbelieved in Allah ' s revelations and slew the prophets wrongfully . That was for their disobedience and transgression .

2.61.وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىَ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِن بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ اهْبِطُواْ مِصْراً فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآؤُوْاْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعْتَدُونَ

2.61. Or, vous n'avez pas tardé à dire : «Ô Moïse ! Nous ne pouvons plus supporter toujours la même nourriture. Invoque ton Seigneur en notre faveur pour qu'Il fasse pousser pour nous, entre autres produits de la terre, des légumes, des concombres, de l'ail, des lentilles et des oignons.» – «Vous voulez donc échanger, leur répondit Moïse, ce qui est bon contre ce qui l'est moins? Eh bien, descendez à n'importe quelle ville ! Vous y trouverez sûrement ce que vous demandez.» Là, ils furent frappés d'humiliation et d'indigence , et la colère de Dieu s'abattit sur eux pour n'avoir pas voulu croire à Ses signes et pour avoir tué injustement Ses prophètes. Telles furent les suites de leur transgression et de leur désobéissance.

2.61. "Und (gedenket der Zeit) da ihr sprachet: ""O Moses, gewiß, wir werden uns nicht zufrieden geben mit einerlei Speise, bitte also deinen Herrn für uns, daß Er für uns hervorbringe von dem, was die Erde wachsen läßt - von ihren Kräutern und ihren Gurken und ihrem Weizen und ihren Linsen und ihren Zwiebeln."" Er sprach: ""Wolltet ihr das Geringere in Tausch nehmen für das Bessere? Geht in irgendeine Stadt, und ihr werdet finden, was ihr verlangt."" Und sie wurden mit Schande und Elend geschlagen, und sie luden Allahs Zorn auf sich, dies, weil sie die Zeichen Allahs verwarfen und die Propheten zu Unrecht töten wollten, das war, weil sie widerspenstig waren und frevelten."

2.61. Wa-ith qultum ya moosa lan nasbira AAala taAAamin wahidin faodAAu lana rabbaka yukhrij lana mimma tunbitu al-ardu min baqliha waqiththa-iha wafoomiha waAAadasiha wabasaliha qala atastabdiloona allathee huwa adna biallathee huwa khayrun ihbitoo misran fa-inna lakum ma saaltum waduribat AAalayhimu alththillatu waalmaskanatu wabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi thalika bi-annahum kanoo yakfuroona bi-ayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alnnabiyyeena bighayri alhaqqi thalika bima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona

2.61. " Y cuando dijisteis: ""¡Moisés! No podremos soportar una sola clase de alimento. ¡Pide a tu Señor de parte nuestra que nos saque algo de lo que la tierra produce: verduras, pepinos, ajos, lentejas y cebollas!"" Dijo: ""¿Vais a cambiar lo que es mejor por algo peor? ¡Bajad a Egipto y hallaréis lo que pedís!"" La humillación y la miseria se abatieron sobre ellos e incurrieron en la ira de Alá. Porque no habían prestado fe a los signos de Alá y habían dado muerte a los profetas sin justificación. Porque habían desobedecido y violado la ley. "

2.61. "E quando diceste:""O Mosè, non possiamo più tollerare un unico alimento. Prega per noi il tuo Signore che, dalla terra, faccia crescere per noi legumi, cetrioli, aglio, lenticchie e cipolle!""Egli disse: ""Volete scambiare il meglio con il peggio? Tornate in Egitto , colà troverete certamente quello che chiedete! "". E furono colpiti dall'abiezione e dalla miseria e subirono la collera di Allah, perché dissimulavano i segni di Allah e uccidevano i profeti ingiustamente . Questo perché disobbedivano e trasgredivano."

2."61. En toen gij zeidet: ""O Mozes, wij verdragen niet langer één soort voedsel, bid daarom voor ons tot uw Heer, dat Hij van hetgeen op aarde groeit - groenten en komkommers en tarwe en linzen en uien - voor ons voortbrenge,"" zeide Hij: ""Zoudt gij hetgeen minderwaardig is in ruil willen nemen voor hetgeen beter is? Gaat naar een stad, daar zult gij vinden, waarom gij vraagt."" En zij kwamen in vernedering en arrmoede en brachten Allah's toorn over zich, dit kwam, omdat zij de tekenen van Allah verwierpen en de profeten onrechtvaardig doodden, want zij waren ongehoorzaam en telkens weer in overtreding."
