2.247 . Their Prophet said unto them : Lo! Allah hath raised up Saul to be a king for you . They said : How can he have kingdom over us when we are more deserving of the kingdom than he is , since he hath not been given wealth enough? He said : Lo! Allah hath chosen him above you , and hath increased him abundantly in wisdom and stature . Allah bestoweth His sovereignty on whom He will . Allah is All Embracing , All Knowing .

2.247.وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكاً قَالُوَاْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةً مِّنَ الْمَالِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَاهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهُ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَالْجِسْمِ وَاللّهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

2.247. Leur prophète leur dit : «Dieu vous envoie Saül comme roi.» Ils s'écrièrent alors : «Comment pourrait-il régner sur nous? Nous avons plus de droits que lui au trône ! Et il n'a même pas l'avantage de la fortune !» Le prophète répondit : «Dieu l'a choisi de préférence à vous tous et Il l'a favorisé en science et en force physique, car Dieu donne le pouvoir à qui Il veut , Il est Omniprésent et Omniscient.»

2.247. "Und ihr Prophet sprach zu ihnen: ""Allah hat den Tálät zum König über euch gesetzt."" Sie sprachen: ""Wie kann er Herrschaft über uns halten, obwohl wir der Herrschaft würdiger sind als er und ihm nicht Fülle des Reichtums beschieden ist?"" Er sprach: ""Wahrlich, Allah hat ihn erwählt über euch und hat ihn gemehrt an Wissen und im Fleische."" Allah verleiht Sein Reich, wem Er will, und Allah ist huldreich, allwissend."

2.247. Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna Allaha qad baAAatha lakum taloota malikan qaloo anna yakoonu lahu almulku AAalayna wanahnu ahaqqu bialmulki minhu walam yu/ta saAAatan mina almali qala inna Allaha istafahu AAalaykum wazadahu bastatan fee alAAilmi waaljismi waAllahu yu/tee mulkahu man yashao waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun

2.247. " Su profeta les dijo: ""Alá os ha suscitado a Saúl como rey"". Dijeron: ""¿Cómo va él a dominar sobre nosotros si nosotros tenemos más derecho que él al dominio y no se le ha concedido abundancia de hacienda?"" Dijo: ""Alá lo ha escogido prefiriéndolo a vosotros y le ha dado más ciencia y más cuerpo"". Alá da Su dominio a quien Él quiere. Alá es inmenso, omnisciente. "

2.247. "E disse il loro profeta: ""Ecco che Allah vi ha dato per re Saul"". Dissero: ""Come potrà regnare su di noi? Noi abbiamo più diritto di lui a regnare, e a lui non sono state concesse ricchezze!"". Disse: ""In verità Allah lo ha scelto tra voi e lo ha dotato di scienza e di prestanza"". Allah dà il regno a chi vuole, Egli è immenso, sapiente."

2."247. En hun profeet zeide tot hen: ""Waarlijk, Allah heeft Taloet (Saul) als koning over u aangesteld."" Zij zeiden: ""Hoe kan hij over ons regeren, terwijl wij meer recht op heerschappij hebben dan hij en hem geen overvloed van rijkdommen is gegeven?"" Hij zeide: ""Voorzeker, Allah heeft hem boven u gekozen en heeft hem overvloedig toegerust met kennis en kracht."" En Allah geeft Zijn heerschappij aan wie Hij wil en Allah is Milddadig, Alwetend."
