More seriously, to answer the question's post, there are so many things to witness :
- The cretacious period to see real dinosaurs and later witness the effect of that meteorite falling
- Egypt as someone mentioned before
- Rome during Caesar's period, to see what all the fuss is about
- Andalucia during the muslim golden era (it all went downhill from there)
- Morocco before Islam, there is virtually no info on that, how they dressed, the social organization...etc
