I remember this one that stuck with me till now, it's the equivalent of the famous one with the donkey and ginger :
"when you offer flowers to a donkey...he eats them"

Just remembered this one that I heard from my friend : 'Until the lion tells the story, the tales of the hunt will always glorify the hunter'

Some are impossible to translate for obvious reasons :

Also some jewish moroccan ones, imagine them told in that typical slightly fassi accent of our jewish community, it makes them funnier :
