Morocco # English board

Hi there,

I am amazed that there are so many Moroccan people living in Australia. Well I am Samir and I am a Moroccan guy living in Amsterdam(the Netherlands) The reason that I am here writing you al, is because I am going to move to Sydney in November for 6 months. I was really queries if there were any Moroccan population in Sydney. To know that there are Moroccan living In Sydney gives me a feeling that I wont be alone. Well it would be great if I could meet some one there while during my stay. Hope to hear from you!

spend at least 10 years of their lives ,running around after papers and documentations...
when they settle in another country,legally with all formalities,they still have to run around their consulat and stuff like that.

I need some info regarding the way of life in Australia. Actually, I lived in France for 7 years (I was at the university), then I went to Toronto/Canada and stayed there for almost 2 years. Now, I'm in Morocco but I wish I could go somewhere else.
Do you thing that Autralia would be appropiate for me to live in?

Hi Hind&Hind , I am also moroccan and have lived in europe for 7 years. I just moved to Sydney 3 months ago and so far I am enjoying it to the fullest. There are so many things you can do and see if you love the outdoors like me. Sydney has endless amazing views (botanic garden, opera house, bondi beach, manly beach, harbour bridge, darling harbour...). The weather here is is great. It's somewhat similar to the weather in Morocco, I think because sydney and morocco are on almost same altitude.
hmm what more, Aussies are very friendly and helpful. People seem to have a happy life. This comes mainly from work-life balance and that is very important here

i'm Moroccan living in New Zealand and planning a trip to Melbourne soon. I would like if someone could help me with information about tourism spots in Melbourne. best places to shop, where to have halal food, places of attraction etc......
i browsed the web and got quite interesting stuff but wish to get more from people living there or anyone who has been there.

I´m moroccan from casablanca, i moved to stockholm sweden at the age of 18 and after years of integration and language apprentice i´m now doing my master in aerospace engineering in the royal institute of technology, i can say life is going well i´m just tired of the cold and think about australia. How do you moroccan experience australian, are they nice people, do they have some stereotype thing against moroccan or are we a little more respected in the land down under? Is life good(welfare and services) there?
