Why Morocco does not think of opening doors to create a big festival to animate big soirées like Carthage in Tunisia, Jarash in Jordan, Bayt el deen in Lebanon.... Morocco has all the means to make it, and includs also great artists like the diva Samira bensaid, latifa raafat, naima samih... and invite also the big names of arabic artists as well as international artists!? nizou

I think that Morrocco has ever organize this sort of festival in Agadir (2000 or 2001 I don't remenber), but it seems that it wasn't be a good experience, why? Allahu Alam...

I remember that I attended in the opening concert (13 july 2001) animated by our great diva Samira Bensaid. Yes, Rotana with ART production, Maroccans artists were under-represented in their "own country"; and near this festival some artists (as Nass el ghiwane etc) took initiative to organize concerts (10-20 dh) to protest against it.
