Do you have a fishing boat? I live in Cambridgeshire and have a 30ft sailing yacht with engine I suppose can be used for fishing if the mast comes down. The only problem is off shore at the moment as I was trying to sell it. Fishing is lovely and can be relaxing if one has the time to spare. I would like to go but not too often as I have very little time free hence I didn’t sail for a while. Where do you go normally? I am used to UK Rivers and Lakes.
Chokran adds for getting back to me and you should make use of the boat - sounds very nice. I live in London but I go usually to the east coast up to Cromer and Sheringham. I guess this is your neck of wood. Fishing is great and really does take your mind away from this pressure cooker society and does refocusses you again. My usual place is the Naze but I do travel all around. Last summer, spent time in Panzance which was like Morocco (Gold sandy beaches etc) Take care
