9.49.وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ائْذَن لِّي وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي أَلاَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُواْ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ

9.49. Tel d'entre eux vient te dire : «Dispense-moi de la guerre ! Ne m'expose pas à la tentation !» Mais cette tentation, n'y sont-ils pas déjà tombés? En vérité, la Géhenne cerne les négateurs de toutes parts.

9.49 . Of them is he who saith : Grant me leave ( to stay at home ) and tempt me not . Surely it is into temptation that they ( thus ) have fallen . Lo! hell is all around the disbelievers .

9.49. Waminhum man yaqoolu i/than lee wala taftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wa-inna jahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena

9.50.إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُواْ قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ

9.50. Obtiens-tu un succès? Ils en éprouvent du dépit , mais si tu subis un revers, ils s'écrient : «Heureusement que nous avions pris d'avance nos précautions !» Et ils se retirent pleins de joie.

9.50 . If good befalleth thee ( O Muhammad ) it afflicteth them , and if calamity befalleth thee , they say : We took precaution , and they turn away well pleased .

9.50. In tusibka hasanatun tasu/hum wa-in tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathna amrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona

9.51.قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلاَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلاَنَا وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

9.51. Dis-leur : «Rien ne nous atteindra, en dehors de ce que Dieu nous a déjà prescrit. Il est notre Maître ! Et c'est en Lui que les croyants doivent mettre leur confiance !»

9.51 . Say : Naught befalleth us save that which Allah hath decreed for us . He is our protecting Friend . In Allah let believers put their trust!

9.51. Qul lan yuseebana illa ma kataba Allahu lana huwa mawlana waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almu/minoona

9.52.قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلاَّ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا فَتَرَبَّصُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ

9.52. Dis-leur : «En ce qui nous concerne, vous ne pouvez vous attendre qu'à l'une des deux éventualités également agréables la victoire ou le martyre, alors que ce que nous attendons pour vous, c'est que Dieu vous inflige un châtiment directement ou par notre intermédiaire. Attendez donc ! Et nous sommes là à attendre à notre tour !»

9.52 . Say : Can ye await for us aught save one of two good things ( death or victory in Allah ' s way ) ? while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with a doom from Him or at our hands . Await then! Lo! we are awaiting with you .

9.52. Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illa ihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasu bikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin min AAindihi aw bi-aydeena fatarabbasoo inna maAAakum mutarabbisoona
