69.26.وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيهْ

69.26. Et que je n'eusse jamais connu mon compte !

69.27.يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ

69.27. Plût à Dieu que ma mort fût définitive !

69.28.مَا أَغْنَى عَنِّي مَالِيهْ

69.28. À quoi donc m'ont servi toutes mes richesses?

69.29.هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيهْ

69.29. Et mon pouvoir s'est-il donc à jamais évanoui?»
