54.21.فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

54.21. Combien furent durs Mon châtiment et la sanction de Mes avertissements !

54.21 . Then see how ( dreadful ) was My punishment after My warnings!

54.21. Fakayfa kana AAathabee wanuthuri

54.22.وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

54.22. Nous avons fait du Coran une œuvre facile à comprendre pour qu'il serve de rappel. Seulement est-il quelqu'un pour méditer ce rappel?

54.22 . And in truth We have made the Quran easy to remember ; but is there any that remembereth?

54.22. Walaqad yassarna alqur-ana lilththikri fahal min muddakirin

54.23.كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ

54.23. Les Thamûd qualifièrent également Nos avertissements de mensonges.

54.23 . ( The tribe of ) Thamud rejected warnings

54.23. Kaththabat thamoodu bialnnuthuri

54.24.فَقَالُوا أَبَشَراً مِّنَّا وَاحِداً نَّتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذاً لَّفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ

54.24. «Allons-nous suivre, s'écrièrent-ils, un seul mortel d'entre nous tous? Il faudrait que nous soyons vraiment des égarés ou des fous !

54.24 . For they said : Is it a mortal man , alone among us , that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness .

54.24. Faqaloo abasharan minna wahidan nattabiAAuhu inna ithan lafee dalalin wasuAAurin

54.25.أَأُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ

54.25. Comment? Aurait-il été choisi de nous tous pour recevoir la révélation? Non ! C'est un fieffé menteur !»

54.25 . Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay , but he is a rash liar .

54.25. Aolqiya alththikru AAalayhi min baynina bal huwa kaththabun ashirun
