5.25.قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لا أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ

5.25. – «Seigneur, dit Moïse, je n'ai de pouvoir que sur moi et mon frère. Éloigne de nous ce peuple pervers !»

5.25 . He said : My Lord! I have control of none but myself and my brother , so distinguish between us and the wrongdoing folk .

5.25. Qala rabbi innee la amliku illa nafsee waakhee faofruq baynana wabayna alqawmi alfasiqeena

5.26.قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً يَتِيهُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ

5.26. – «Cette terre, dit le Seigneur, leur sera interdite pendant quarante ans durant lesquels ils seront appelés à errer de par le monde. Ne te tourmente donc pas pour un peuple aussi pervers !»

5.26 . ( Their Lord ) said : For this the land will surely be forbidden them for forty years that they will . wander in the earth , bewildered . So grieve not over the wrongdoing folk .

5.26. Qala fa-innaha muharramatun AAalayhim arbaAAeena sanatan yateehoona fee al-ardi fala ta/sa AAala alqawmi alfasiqeena

5.27.وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَاناً فَتُقُبِّلَ مِن أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ

5.27. Raconte-leur l'histoire des deux fils d'Adam telle qu'elle s'est déroulée. Chacun des deux frères avait fait une offrande , mais celle de l'un fut acceptée, alors que celle de l'autre ne le fut point. «Je te tuerai», dit ce dernier à son frère, qui lui répondit : «Que veux-tu, Dieu n'accepte que de ceux qui Le craignent !

5.27 . But recite unto them with truth the tale of the two sons of Adam , how they offered each a sacrifice , and it was accepted from the one of them and it was not accepted from the other . ( The one ) said : I will surely kill thee . ( The other ) answered : Allah accepteth only from those who ward off ( evil ) .

5.27. Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa ibnay adama bialhaqqi ith qarraba qurbanan fatuqubbila min ahadihima walam yutaqabbal mina al-akhari qala laaqtulannaka qala innama yataqabbalu Allahu mina almuttaqeena

5.28.لَئِن بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِي مَا أَنَاْ بِبَاسِطٍ يَدِيَ إِلَيْكَ لَأَقْتُلَكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

5.28. Et si tu portes la main sur moi pour me tuer, je n'en ferai pas de même, car je crains trop mon Seigneur, le Maître de l'Univers, pour commettre un pareil crime !

5.28 . Even if thou stretch out thy hand against me to kill me , I shall not stretch out my hand against thee to kill thee , lo! I fear Allah , the Lord of the Worlds .

5.28. La-in basatta ilayya yadaka litaqtulanee ma ana bibasitin yadiya ilayka li-aqtulaka innee akhafu Allaha rabba alAAalameena
