42.21.أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاء شَرَعُوا لَهُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

42.21. Ou bien auraient-ils des divinités qui auraient établi pour eux des lois religieuses non autorisées par Dieu? Si l'arrêt décisif n'avait pas été prononcé, Dieu aurait déjà réglé leur compte. Mais un châtiment implacable est réservé aux injustes.

42.21 . Or have they partners ( of Allah ) who have made lawful for them in religion that which Allah allowed not? And but for a decisive word ( gone forth already ) , it would have been judged between them . Lo! for wrong doers is a painful doom .

42.21. Am lahum shurakao sharaAAoo lahum mina alddeeni ma lam ya/than bihi Allahu walawla kalimatu alfasli laqudiya baynahum wa-inna alththalimeena lahum AAathabun aleemun

42.22.تَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي رَوْضَاتِ الْجَنَّاتِ لَهُم مَّا يَشَاؤُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الكَبِيرُ

42.22. Tu verras les injustes au Jour du Jugement transis de peur devant la gravité de leurs péchés et du châtiment qu'ils devront inéluctablement subir, pendant que ceux qui auront cru et fait le bien seront dans les jardins du Paradis, où ils verront tous leurs vœux exaucés auprès de leur Seigneur. Et ce sera pour eux la faveur suprême !

42.22 . Thou seest the wrong doers fearful of that which they have earned , and it will surely befall them ; while those who believe and do good works ( will be ) in flowering meadows of the Gardens , having what they wish from their Lord . This is the great preferment .

42.22. Tara alththalimeena mushfiqeena mimma kasaboo wahuwa waqiAAun bihim waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati fee rawdati aljannati lahum ma yashaoona AAinda rabbihim thalika huwa alfadlu alkabeeru

42.23.ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْراً إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْناً إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

42.23. Telle est la bonne nouvelle que Dieu annonce à Ses serviteurs qui croient et font le bien. Dis : «Je ne vous réclame pour cela aucun salaire, si ce n'est seulement l'affection due à vos proches.» Quiconque accomplit une bonne action, Nous lui en augmenterons le mérite, car Dieu est Plein d'indulgence et de gratitude.

42.23 . This it is which Allah announceth unto His bondmen who believe and do good works . Say ( O Muhammad , unto mankind ) : I ask of you no fee therefor , save loving kindness among kinsfolk . And whoso scoreth a good deed we add unto its good for him . Lo! Allah is Forgiving , Responsive .

42.23. Thalika allathee yubashshiru Allahu AAibadahu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati qul la as-alukum AAalayhi ajran illa almawaddata fee alqurba waman yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahu feeha husnan inna Allaha ghafoorun shakoorun

42.24.أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِباً فَإِن يَشَأِ اللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ وَيَمْحُ اللَّهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

42.24. Ou diront-ils : «Il a forgé un mensonge qu'il attribue à Dieu»? Mais Dieu pourrait alors, si cela Lui plaît, sceller à jamais ton cœur, et, par Son arrêt, dissiper l'erreur et imposer la Vérité, car Il sait ce que recèlent les cœurs.

42.24 . Or say they : He hath invented a lie concerning Allah? If Allah willed , He could have sealed thy heart ( against them ) . And Allah will wipe out the lie and will vindicate the truth by His words . Lo! He is aware of what is hidden in the breasts ( of men ) .

42.24. Am yaqooloona iftara AAala Allahi kathiban fa-in yasha-i Allahu yakhtim AAala qalbika wayamhu Allahu albatila wayuhiqqu alhaqqa bikalimatihi innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

42.25.وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

42.25. C'est Lui qui agrée le repentir de Ses serviteurs, qui absout les mauvaises actions et qui sait ce que vous faites.

42.25 . And He it is Who accepteth repentance from his bondmen , and pardoneth the evil deeds , and knoweth what ye do .

42.25. Wahuwa allathee yaqbalu alttawbata AAan AAibadihi wayaAAfoo AAani alssayyi-ati wayaAAlamu ma tafAAaloona
