39.26.فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

39.26. Dieu leur a fait goûter l'ignominie en ce monde, mais les châtiments qui les attendent dans l'au-delà sont plus atroces encore, s'ils pouvaient le savoir.

39.26 . Thus Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world , and verily the doom of the Hereafter will be greater if they did but know .

39.26. Faathaqahumu Allahu alkhizya fee alhayati alddunya walaAAathabu al-akhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona

39.27.وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

39.27. Que d'exemples de toutes sortes sont donnés dans ce Coran aux hommes, afin de les amener à réfléchir !

39.27 . And verily We have coined for mankind in this Quran all kinds of similitudes , that haply they may reflect ;

39.27. Walaqad darabna lilnnasi fee hatha alqur-ani min kulli mathalin laAAallahum yatathakkaroona

39.28.قُرآناً عَرَبِيّاً غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

39.28. Révélé en langue arabe, ce Coran ne contient aucune équivoque. Peut-être seront-ils amenés à craindre le Seigneur.

39.28 . A Lecture in Arabic , containing no crookedness , that haply they may ward off ( evil ) .

39.28. Qur-anan AAarabiyyan ghayra thee AAiwajin laAAallahum yattaqoona

39.29.ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلاً رَّجُلاً فِيهِ شُرَكَاء مُتَشَاكِسُونَ وَرَجُلاً سَلَماً لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلاً الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

39.29. Dieu vous propose en parabole un serviteur qui a plusieurs maîtres associés, qui se disputent son service, et un autre serviteur qui n'a qu'un seul maître. Le sort de ces deux serviteurs est-il le même? Louange à Dieu, la différence est claire ! Mais trop peu d'hommes en ont conscience !

39.29 . Allah coineth a similitude : A man in relation to whom are several part owners , quarrelling , and a man belonging wholly to one man . Are the two equal in similitude? Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not .

39.29. Daraba Allahu mathalan rajulan feehi shurakao mutashakisoona warajulan salaman lirajulin hal yastawiyani mathalan alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona

39.30.إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ

39.30. Certes, tu es appelé à mourir, comme ils sont aussi appelés à mourir ,

39.30 . Lo! thou wilt die , and lo! they will die ;

39.30. Innaka mayyitun wa-innahum mayyitoona
