21.1.اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مَّعْرِضُونَ

21.1. Le jour où les hommes auront à rendre compte approche , et, cependant, plongés dans leur insouciance, ils s'en détournent.

21.1 . Their reckoning draweth nigh for mankind , while they turn away in heedlessness .

21.1. Iqtaraba lilnnasi hisabuhum wahum fee ghaflatin muAAridoona

21.2.مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مَّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

21.2. Aucun nouveau rappel ne leur parvient de leur Seigneur qu'ils ne l'écoutent d'un air amusé

21.2 . Never cometh there unto them a new reminder from their Lord but they listen to it while they play .

21.2. Ma ya/teehim min thikrin min rabbihim muhdathin illa istamaAAoohu wahum yalAAaboona

21.3.لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلْ هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

21.3. et d'un cœur distrait. Et les injustes se disent en secret : «Qu'est-il, celui-là, sinon un mortel comme vous? Allez-vous tomber sous le coup de la magie, en pleine connaissance de cause?»

21.3 . With hearts preoccupied . And they confer in secret The wrong doers say : Is this other than a mortal like you? Will ye then succumb to magic when ye see ( it ) ?

21.3. Lahiyatan quloobuhum waasarroo alnnajwa allatheena thalamoo hal hatha illa basharun mithlukum afata/toona alssihra waantum tubsiroona

21.4.قَالَ رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَاء وَالأَرْضِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

21.4. Et le Prophète de dire : «Mon Seigneur sait ce qui se dit dans le Ciel et sur la Terre. Il est Celui qui entend tout et qui sait tout.»

21.4 . He saith : My Lord knoweth what is spoken in the heaven and the earth . He is the Hearer , the Knower .

21.4. Qala rabbee yaAAlamu alqawla fee alssama-i waal-ardi wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu

21.5.بَلْ قَالُواْ أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَمٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الأَوَّلُونَ

21.5. – «Ce Coran, disent-ils, n'est qu'un amas de rêveries ! Ou c'est plutôt lui qui l'a forgé ! Ou il s'agit plutôt de l'œuvre d'un poète ! Qu'il produise donc devant nous un signe miraculeux, comme celui dont furent chargés les premiers envoyés !»

21.5 . Nay , say they , ( these are but ) muddled dreams ; nay , he hath but invented it ; nay , he is but a poet . Let him bring us a portent even as those of old ( who were God ' s messengers ) were sent ( with portents ) .

21.5. Bal qaloo adghathu ahlamin bali iftarahu bal huwa shaAAirun falya/tina bi-ayatin kama orsila al-awwaloona
