10.49.قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرّاً وَلاَ نَفْعاً إِلاَّ مَا شَاء اللّهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهُمْ فَلاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
10.49. Réponds-leur : «Je ne détiens aucun pouvoir sur ce qui peut m'arriver en bien ou en mal, en dehors de ce que Dieu veut.» À chaque communauté est fixé un terme que, quand il échoit, elle ne peut, ne serait-ce que d'un instant, ni avancer ni reculer.
10.49 . Say : I have no power to hurt or benefit myself , save that which Allah willeth . For every nation there is an appointed time . When their time cometh , then they cannot put it off an hour , nor hasten ( it ) .
10.49. Qul la amliku linafsee darran wala nafAAan illa ma shaa Allahu likulli ommatin ajalun itha jaa ajaluhum fala yasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona
10.50.قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُهُ بَيَاتاً أَوْ نَهَاراً مَّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
10.50. Dis : «Que vous en semble? Si le châtiment de Dieu devait venir vous surprendre de nuit ou de jour, à quoi servirait aux coupables d'avoir hâte de le voir se produire?
10.50 . Say : Have ye thought : When His doom cometh unto you as a raid by night , or in the ( busy ) day ; what is there of it that the guilty ones desire to hasten?
10.50. Qul araaytum in atakum AAathabuhu bayatan aw naharan matha yastaAAjilu minhu almujrimoona
10.51.أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ آمَنْتُم بِهِ آلآنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
10.51. Est-ce au moment où ce châtiment s'abattra sur vous que vous croirez enfin? Alors que, la veille encore, vous en réclamiez avec ironie la prompte arrivée !»
10.51 . Is it ( only ) then , when it hath befallen you , that ye will believe? What! ( Believe ) now , when ( until now ) ye have been hastening it on ( through disbelief ) ?
10.51. Athumma itha ma waqaAAa amantum bihi al-ana waqad kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona
10.52.ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
10.52. Et il sera dit à ceux qui auront commis des injustices : «Goûtez le châtiment éternel ! Pouvez-vous être rétribués autrement que selon vos propres acquis?»
10.52 . Then will it be said unto those who dealt unjustly : Taste the torment of eternity . Are ye requited aught save what ye used to earn?
10.52. Thumma qeela lillatheena thalamoo thooqoo AAathaba alkhuldi hal tujzawna illa bima kuntum taksiboona
