8.67 . It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land . Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth ( for you ) the Hereafter , and Allah is Mighty , Wise .

8.67.مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَى حَتَّى يُثْخِنَ فِي الأَرْضِ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ يُرِيدُ الآخِرَةَ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

8.67. Il ne sied pas à un prophète de faire des captifs tant qu'il n'a pas réduit les infidèles à l'impuissance. Vous aspirez aux biens éphémères de ce monde, quand Dieu vous convie à la vie future ! Dieu est Puissant et Sage.

8.67. Einem Propheten geziemt es nicht, Gefangene zu machen, ehe er sich auf kriegerischen Kampf einlaßen muß im Land. Ihr wollt die Güter dieser Welt, Allah aber will (für euch) das Jenseits. Und Allah ist allmächtig, allweise.

8.67. Ma kana linabiyyin an yakoona lahu asra hatta yuthkhina fee al-ardi tureedoona AAarada alddunya waAllahu yureedu al-akhirata waAllahu AAazeezun hakeemun

8.67. No está bien que un profeta tenga cautivos mientras no someta en la tierra. Vosotros queréis lo que la vida de acá ofrece, en tanto que Alá quiere la otra vida. Alá es poderoso, sabio.

8.67. Non si addice ad un profeta prendere prigionieri finché non avrà completamente soggiogato la terra .Voi cercate il bene terreno, mentre Allah vuole [darvi] quello dell'altra vita. Allah è eccelso, saggio.

8.67. Een profeet kan geen gevangenen maken voordat hij tot geregeld vechten in het land komt. Gij wenst de goederen van deze wereld terwijl Allah het Hiernamaals voor u wenst. En Allah is Almachtig, Alwijs.
