5.48 . And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth , confirming whatever Scripture was before it , and a watcher over it . So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed , and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee . For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced out way . Had Allah willed He could have made you one community . But that He may try you by that which He hath given you ( He hath made you as ye are ) . So vie one with another in good works . Unto Allah ye will all return , and He will then inform you of that wherein ye differ .

5.48.وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِناً عَلَيْهِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مِنكُمْ شِرْعَةً وَمِنْهَاجاً وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَـكِن لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُم فَاسْتَبِقُوا الخَيْرَاتِ إِلَى الله مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعاً فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ

5.48. À toi aussi Nous avons révélé le Coran, expression de la pure Vérité, qui est venu confirmer les Écritures antérieures et les préserver de toute altération. Juge donc entre eux d'après ce que Dieu t'a révélé. Ne suis pas leurs passions, loin de la Vérité qui t'est parvenue. À chacun de vous Nous avons tracé un itinéraire et établi une règle de conduite qui lui est propre. Et si Dieu l'avait voulu, Il aurait fait de vous une seule et même communauté , mais Il a voulu vous éprouver pour voir l'usage que chaque communauté ferait de ce qu'Il lui a donné. Rivalisez donc d'efforts dans l'accomplissement de bonnes œuvres, car c'est vers Dieu que vous ferez tous retour, et Il vous éclairera alors sur l'origine de vos disputes.

5.48. Wir haben dir das Buch hinabgesandt mit der Wahrheit, als Erfüllung dessen, was schon in dem Buche war, und als Wächter darüber. Richte darum zwischen ihnen nach dem, was Allah hinabgesandt hat, und folge nicht ihren bösen Neigungen gegen die Wahrheit, die zu dir gekommen ist. Einem jeden von euch haben Wir eine klare Satzung und einen deutlichen Weg vorgeschrieben. Und hätte Allah gewollt, Er hätte euch alle zu einer einzigen Gemeinde gemacht, doch Er wünscht euch auf die Probe zu stellen durch das, was Er euch gegeben. Wetteifert darum miteinander in guten Werken. Zu Allah ist euer aller Heimkehr, dann wird Er euch aufklären über das, worüber ihr uneinig wart.

5.48. Waanzalna ilayka alkitaba bialhaqqi musaddiqan lima bayna yadayhi mina alkitabi wamuhayminan AAalayhi faohkum baynahum bima anzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum AAamma jaaka mina alhaqqi likullin jaAAalna minkum shirAAatan waminhajan walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalakum ommatan wahidatan walakin liyabluwakum feema atakum faistabiqoo alkhayrati ila Allahi marjiAAukum jameeAAan fayunabbi-okum bima kuntum feehi takhtalifoona

5.48. Te hemos revelado la Escritura con la Verdad, en confirmación y como custodia de lo que ya había de la Escritura. Decide, pues, entre ellos según lo que Alá ha revelado y no sigas sus pasiones, que te apartan de la Verdad que has recibido. A cada uno os hemos dado una norma y una vía. Alá, si hubiera querido, habría hecho de vosotros una sola comunidad, pero quería probaros en lo que os dio. ¡Rivalizad en buenas obras! Todos volveréis a Alá. Ya os informará Él de aquello en que discrepabais.

5.48. E su di te abbiamo fatto scendere il Libro con la Verità, a conferma della Scrittura che era scesa in precedenza e lo abbiamo preservato da ogni alterazione . Giudica tra loro secondo quello che Allah ha fatto scendere, non conformarti alle loro passioni allontanandoti dalla verità che ti è giunta. Ad ognuno di voi abbiamo assegnato una via e un percorso. Se Allah avesse voluto, avrebbe fatto di voi una sola comunità. Vi ha voluto però provare con quel che vi ha dato. Gareggiate in opere buone: tutti ritornerete ad Allah ed Egli vi informerà a proposito delle cose sulle quali siete discordi.

5.48. En Wij hebben u het Boek (de Koran) met de waarheid geopenbaard vervullende hetgeen daarvóór in het Boek (de Bijbel) was (verkondigd) en als bewaker daarover. Richt daarom tussen hen naar hetgeen Allah heeft geopenbaard en volg hun boze neigingen niet tegen de waarheid die tot u is gekomen. Voor iedereen bepaalden Wij een wet en een weg. En indien Allah had gewild zou Hij u allen tot één volk hebben gemaakt, maar Hij wenst u te beproeven met hetgeen Hij u heeft gegeven. Wedijvert dus met elkander in goede werken. Tot Allah zult gij allen terugkeren, dan zal Hij u datgene mededelen, waarover gij van mening verschilt.
