3.79 . It is not ( possible ) for any human being unto whom Allah had given the Scripture and wisdom and the Prophethood that he should afterwards have said unto mankind : Be slaves of me instead of Allah ; but ( what he said was ) : Be ye faithful servants of the Lord by virtue of your constant teaching of the Scripture and of your constant study thereof .

3.79.مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَاداً لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ

3.79. Il n'appartient à aucun être humain à qui Dieu a accordé le Livre, la Sagesse et la prophétie de dire ensuite à ses semblables : «Adorez-moi à l'exclusion de Dieu !» Mais il devra dire plutôt : «Soyez de vrais dévots de Dieu, puisque vous enseignez et étudiez l'Écriture.»

3.79. "Es geziemt einem Menschen nicht, wenn Allah ihm das Buch und die Herrschaft und das Prophetentum gibt, daß er zu den Leuten spricht: ""Seid meine Diener statt Allahs"", sondern: ""Seid einzig dem Herrn ergeben, da ihr ja die Schrift lehrt und euch (in sie) vertieft."""

3.79. Ma kana libasharin an yu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasi koonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakin koonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoona alkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona

3.79. " No está bien que un mortal a quien Alá da la Escritura, el jucio y el profetismo, vaya diciendo a la gente: ""¡Sed siervos míos y no de Alá!"" Antes bien: ""¡Sed maestros, puesto que enseñáis la Escritura y la estudiáis!"" "

3.79. "Non si addice ad un uomo al quale Allah ha dato la Scrittura e la saggezza e la dignità di profeta, dire alle genti: ""Adorate me all'infuori di Allah"" , ma piuttosto: ""Siate veri devoti del Signore, voi che insegnate il Libro e lo avete studiato""."

3."79. Het betaamt een mens niet, als Allah hem het Boek en de macht en het profeetschap geeft, dat hij dan tot de mensen zou zeggen: ""Weest mijn dienaren buiten Allah'', maar (veeleer): ""Weest aanbidders van de Heer, daar gij het Boek onderwijst en zelf bestudeert."""
