3.23 . Hast thou not seen how those who have received the Scripture invoke the Scripture of Allah ( in their disputes ) that it may judge between them ; then a faction of them turn away , being opposed ( to it ) ?

3.23.أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ نَصِيباً مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

3.23. Ne vois-tu pas comment un bon nombre de ceux qui ont reçu une partie des Écritures tournent le dos et s'éloignent avec dédain, lorsqu'on les invite à se reporter au Livre de Dieu pour trancher leurs différends?

3.23. Hast du nicht von jenen Kenntnis, denen ein Teil von der Schrift gegeben ward? Sie sind berufen zum Buche Allahs, daß es richten möge zwischen ihnen, doch ein Teil von ihnen wendet sich ab in Widerwillen.

3.23. Alam tara ila allatheena ootoo naseeban mina alkitabi yudAAawna ila kitabi Allahi liyahkuma baynahum thumma yatawalla fareequn minhum wahum muAAridoona

3.23. ¿No has visto a quienes han recibido una porción de la Escritura ? Se les invita a que acepten la Escritura de Alá para que decida entre ellos, pero algunos vuelven la espalda y se van.

3.23. Non hai visto coloro ai quali era stata data una parte della Scrittura? Quando sono invitati al Libro di Allah perché sia giudice tra loro, una parte di loro volge le spalle nel rifiuto assoluto.

3.23. Kent gij niet degenen, aan wie een gedeelte van het Boek werd gegeven? Zij worden tot het Boek van Allah geroepen, opdat het onder hen rechter zij, dan wendt zich een gedeelte hunner af terwijl zij afkerig zijn.
