2.165 . Yet of mankind are some who take unto themselves objects of worship which they set as ) rivals to Allah , loving them with a love like ( that which is the due ) of Allah ( only ) Those who believe are stauncher in their love for Allah , that those who do evil had but known , ( on the day ) when they behold the doom , that power belongeth wholly to Allah , and that Allah is severe in punishment!

2.165.وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ أَندَاداً يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَشَدُّ حُبّاً لِّلّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعاً وَأَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ

2.165. Il est des hommes qui prennent en dehors de Dieu des associés qu'ils se mettent à aimer à l'égal de Dieu Lui-même ! Mais ce sont les croyants qui vouent à Dieu le plus grand amour. Ah ! Si les injustes pouvaient entrevoir le supplice qui les attend, ils verraient alors que la puissance entière appartient à Dieu seul et que Dieu, quand Il sévit, le fait toujours avec rigueur.

2.165. Und doch gibt es Leute, die sich andere Gegenstände der Anbetung setzen denn Allah und sie lieben wie die Liebe zu Allah. Doch die Gläubigen sind stärker in ihrer Liebe zu Allah. Und wenn die Frevler (die Stunde) kennten, da sie die Strafe sehen werden (sie würden begreifen), daß alle Macht Allah gehört und daß Allah streng im Strafen ist.

2.165. Wamina alnnasi man yattakhithu min dooni Allahi andadan yuhibboonahum kahubbi Allahi waallatheena amanoo ashaddu hubban lillahi walaw yara allatheena thalamoo ith yarawna alAAathaba anna alquwwata lillahi jameeAAan waanna Allaha shadeedu alAAathabi

2.165. Hay hombres que, fuera de Alá, toman a otros que equiparan a Él y les aman como se ama a Alá. Pero los creyentes aman a Alá con un amor más fuerte. Si vieran los impíos, cuando vean e castigo, que la fuerza es toda de Alá y que Alá castiga severamente...

2.165. E fra gli uomini vi sono coloro che attribuiscono ad Allah degli uguali e li amano come amano Allah. Ma coloro che credono hanno per Allah un amore ben più grande. Se gli empi potessero vedere, [come] quando vedranno il castigo, che tutta la forza è di Allah, e che Allah è implacabile nel castigo!

2.165. Onder de mensen zijn er, die voorwerpen van aanbidding buiten Allah nemen en ze liefhebben, zoals zij Allah behoren lief te hebben. Maar zij die geloven zijn sterker in hun liefde voor Allah. En als zij die overtreden (nu) de tijd kunnen zien wanneer zij de straf zullen zien, (dan zouden zij beseffen) dat alle macht aan Allah toebehoort en dat Allah streng is in het straffen.
