Laysa AAala aldduAAafa-i wala AAala almarda wala AAala allatheena la yajidoona ma yunfiqoona harajun itha nasahoo lillahi warasoolihi ma AAala almuhsineena min sabeelin waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun 9.91. Les faibles, les malades ainsi que ceux qui manquent de moyens pour s’équiper ne sont pas tenus d’aller à la guerre, pourvu qu’ils soient sincères envers Dieu et Son Prophète. On ne doit pas s’en prendre à ceux qui font le bien, car Dieu est Clément et Miséricordieux. 9.91 . Not unto the weak nor unto the sick nor unto those who can find naught to spend is any fault ( to be imputed though they stay at home ) if they are true to Allah and His messenger . Not unto the good is there any road ( of blame ) . Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .

ÍóÒóäÇð ÃóáÇøó íóÌöÏõæÇú ãóÇ íõäÝöÞõæäó 9.92. Wala AAala allatheena itha ma atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu ma ahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedu mina alddamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo ma yunfiqoona 9.92. Nul reproche n’est à faire non plus à ceux qui sont venus te demander des montures pour aller au combat et qui, lorsque tu leur as dit : «Je ne dispose d’aucune monture à vous donner», s’en allèrent les yeux débordant de larmes et désolés de ne pouvoir en faire eux-mêmes la dépense. 9.92 . Nor unto those whom , when they came to thee ( asking ) that thou shouldest mount them , thou didst tell : I cannot find whereon to mount you . They turned back with eyes flowing with tears , for sorrow that they could not find the means to spend .

Innama alssabeelu AAala allatheena yasta/thinoonaka wahum aghniyao radoo bi-an yakoonoo maAAa alkhawalifi watabaAAa Allahu AAala quloobihim fahum la yaAAlamoona 9.93. Mais il y a lieu de s’en prendre à ceux qui, quoique riches, te demandent de les dispenser de se battre, acceptant d’être relégués avec les invalides à l’arrière. Dieu a imprimé un sceau sur leurs cœurs les rendant incapables de rien comprendre. 9.93 . The road ( of blame ) is only against those who ask for leave of thee ( to stay at home ) when they are rich . They are content to be with the useless . Allah hath sealed their hearts so that they know not .

YaAAtathiroona ilaykum itha rajaAAtum ilayhim qul la taAAtathiroo lan nu/mina lakum qad nabbaana Allahu min akhbarikum wasayara Allahu AAamalakum warasooluhu thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbi-okum bima kuntum taAAmaloona 9.94. Et ils ne manqueront pas de vous présenter des excuses dès votre retour de la bataille. Dis-leur : «Ne vous excusez pas, car jamais nous ne vous croirons ! Dieu nous a déjà instruits sur votre compte. Dieu et Son Prophète verront vos actes. Puis vous retournerez à Celui qui connaît l’apparent et l’occulte, et qui vous informera de tous vos actes.» 9.94 . They will make excuse to you ( Muslims ) when ye return unto them . Say : Make no excuse , for we shall not believe you . Allah hath told us tidings of you . Allah and His messenger will see your conduct , and then ye will be brought back unto Him Who knoweth the invisible as well as the visible , and He will tell you what ye used to do .

íóßúÓöÈõæäó 9.95. Sayahlifoona biAllahi lakum itha inqalabtum ilayhim lituAAridoo AAanhum faaAAridoo AAanhum innahum rijsun wama/wahum jahannamu jazaan bima kanoo yaksiboona 9.95. Quand vous serez de retour parmi eux, ils prendront Dieu à témoin de leur loyauté afin d’éviter vos reproches. Détournez-vous de ces êtres immondes dont le dernier refuge sera la Géhenne, pour prix de leurs forfaits. 9.95 . They will swear by Allah unto you , when ye return unto them , that ye may let them be . Let them be , for lo! they are unclean , and their abode is hell as the reward for what they used to earn .

9.96. Yahlifoona lakum litardaw AAanhum fa-in tardaw AAanhum fa-inna Allaha la yarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena 9.96. Ils vous adjurent d’accepter leurs excuses. Sachez que si vous les agréez, Dieu n’agréera point les excuses des gens pervers ! 9.96 . They swear unto you , that ye may accept them . Though ye accept them , Allah verily accepteth not wrongdoing folk .
ÇáÃóÚúÑóÇÈõ ÃóÔóÏøõ ßõÝúÑÇð æóäöÝóÇÞÇð æóÃóÌúÏóÑõ ÃóáÇøó íóÚúáóãõæÇú
ÍõÏõæÏó ãóÇ ÃóäÒóáó Çááøåõ Úóáóì ÑóÓõæáöåö æóÇááøåõ Úóáöíãñ Íóßöíãñ 9.97. Al-aAArabu ashaddu kufran wanifaqan waajdaru alla yaAAlamoo hudooda ma anzala Allahu AAala rasoolihi waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun 9.97. Les nomades sont les négateurs les plus endurcis, les hypocrites les plus sournois et les plus enclins à ne pas faire cas des préceptes que Dieu a révélés à Son Prophète. Dieu est Omniscient et Sage. 9.97 . The wandering Arabs are more hard in disbelief and hypocrisy , and more likely to be ignorant of the limits which Allah hath revealed unto His messenger . And Allah is knower , Wise .

Úóáóíúåöãú ÏóÂÆöÑóÉõ ÇáÓøóæúÁö æóÇááøåõ ÓóãöíÚñ Úóáöíãñ 9.98. Wamina al-aAArabi man yattakhithu ma yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbasu bikumu alddawa-ira AAalayhim da-iratu alssaw-i waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun 9.98. Parmi les nomades, certains considèrent leur contribution comme une corvée et attendent avec impatience les malheurs qui pourraient vous atteindre. Puissent-ils en être victimes eux-mêmes ! Car Dieu est Audient et Omniscient. 9.98 . And of the wandering Arabs there is he who taketh that which he expendeth ( for the cause of Allah ) , as a loss , and awaiteth ( evil ) turns of fortune for you ( that he may be rid of it ) . The evil turn of fortune will be theirs . Allah is Nearer , Knower .

Wamina al-aAArabi man yu/minu biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri wayattakhithu ma yunfiqu qurubatin AAinda Allahi wasalawati alrrasooli ala innaha qurbatun lahum sayudkhiluhumu Allahu fee rahmatihi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun 9.99. Il en est d’autres qui croient en Dieu et au Jour dernier et qui considèrent ce qu’ils dépensent comme un moyen de se rapprocher de Dieu et de bénéficier des prières du Prophète. Certes, c’est là un moyen sûr de se rapprocher de Dieu, et Dieu les admettra dans le sein de Sa miséricorde, car Dieu est Clément et Miséricordieux. 9.99 . And of the wandering Arabs there is he who believeth in Allah and the Last day , and taketh that which he expandeth and also the prayers of the messenger as acceptable offering for in the sight of Allah . Lo! verily it is an acceptable offering for them . Allah will bring them into His mercy . Lo! Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .

Waalssabiqoona al-awwaloona mina almuhajireena waal-ansari waallatheena ittabaAAoohum bi-ihsanin radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu waaAAadda lahum jannatin tajree tahtaha al-anharu khalideena feeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu 9.100. Quant aux émigrés et aux auxiliaires qui ont été les premiers à se joindre au Prophète et à l’accueillir, ainsi que ceux qui les ont suivis dans un élan sincère, Dieu est Satisfait d’eux comme ils seront satisfaits de Ses faveurs, car Il a préparé à leur intention des Jardins sous lesquels coulent des ruisseaux et où leur séjour sera éternel. Et ce sera pour eux le comble de la félicité. 9.100 . And the first to lead the way , of the Muha ' jirin and the Ansar , and those who followed them in goodness Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow , wherein they will abide for ever . That is the supreme triumph .
