Infiroo khifafan wathiqalan wajahidoo bi-amwalikum waanfusikum fee sabeeli Allahi thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona 9.41. Courez au combat, légèrement ou lourdement équipés ! Mettez vos biens et vos personnes au service de Dieu ! Cela sera toujours dans votre propre intérêt, si vous pouviez le savoir ! 9.41 . Go forth , light armed and heavy armed , and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew .
áóæú ßóÇäó ÚóÑóÖÇð ÞóÑöíÈÇð æóÓóÝóÑÇð ÞóÇÕöÏÇð áÇøóÊøóÈóÚõæßó æóáóÜßöä ÈóÚõÏóÊú
Úóáóíúåöãõ ÇáÔøõÞøóÉõ æóÓóíóÍúáöÝõæäó ÈöÇááøåö áóæö ÇÓúÊóØóÚúäóÇ áóÎóÑóÌúäóÇ
ãóÚóßõãú íõåúáößõæäó ÃóäÝõÓóåõãú æóÇááøåõ íóÚúáóãõ Åöäøóåõãú áóßóÇÐöÈõæäó 9.42. Law kana AAaradan qareeban wasafaran qasidan laittabaAAooka walakin baAAudat AAalayhimu alshshuqqatu wasayahlifoona biAllahi lawi istataAAna lakharajna maAAakum yuhlikoona anfusahum waAllahu yaAAlamu innahum lakathiboona 9.42. S’il s’était agi d’un butin facile ou d’une expédition sans risque, ils t’auraient facilement suivi. Mais, cette fois-ci, le parcours leur paraît bien long. Aussi ne manquent-ils pas de jurer en disant : «Si nous le pouvions, nous partirions volontiers avec vous !», s’exposant ainsi à leur propre perte, car Dieu sait bien qu’ils mentent. 9.42 . Had it been a near adventure and an easy journey they had followed thee , but the distance seemed too far for them . Yet will they swear by Allah ( saying ) : If we had been able we would surely have set out with you . They destroy their souls , and Allah knoweth that they verily are liars .
ÚóÝóÇ Çááøåõ Úóäßó áöãó ÃóÐöäÊó áóåõãú ÍóÊøóì íóÊóÈóíøóäó áóßó ÇáøóÐöíäó
ÕóÏóÞõæÇú æóÊóÚúáóãó ÇáúßóÇÐöÈöíäó 9.43. AAafa Allahu AAanka lima athinta lahum hatta yatabayyana laka allatheena sadaqoo wataAAlama alkathibeena 9.43. Que Dieu te pardonne ! Pourquoi les as-tu dispensés d’aller au combat avant de reconnaître ceux qui avaient une excuse valable et ceux qui ne faisaient que mentir? 9.43 . Allah forgive thee ( O Muhammad ) ! Wherefore didst thou grant them leave ere those who told the truth were manifest to thee and thou didst know the liars?
áÇó íóÓúÊóÃúÐöäõßó ÇáøóÐöíäó
íõÄúãöäõæäó ÈöÇááøåö æóÇáúíóæúãö ÇáÂÎöÑö Ãóä íõÌóÇåöÏõæÇú ÈöÃóãúæóÇáöåöãú
æóÃóäÝõÓöåöãú æóÇááøåõ Úóáöíãñ ÈöÇáúãõÊøóÞöíäó 9.44. La yasta/thinuka allatheena yu/minoona biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri an yujahidoo bi-amwalihim waanfusihim waAllahu AAaleemun bialmuttaqeena 9.44. Certes, ceux qui croient en Dieu et au Jour dernier ne viendront jamais te demander de dispense quand il s’agit d’aller combattre pour la Cause de Dieu avec leurs biens et leurs personnes. Dieu connaît toujours les véritables croyants. 9.44 . Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask no leave of thee lest they should strive with their wealth and their lives . Allah is Aware of those who keep their duty ( unto Him ) .

áÇó íõÄúãöäõæäó ÈöÇááøåö æóÇáúíóæúãö ÇáÂÎöÑö æóÇÑúÊóÇÈóÊú ÞõáõæÈõåõãú Ýóåõãú
Ýöí ÑóíúÈöåöãú íóÊóÑóÏøóÏõæäó 9.45. Innama yasta/thinuka allatheena la yu/minoona biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri wairtabat quloobuhum fahum fee raybihim yataraddadoona 9.45. En effet, ne viendront te demander cette dispense que ceux qui ne croient pas en Dieu et au Jour dernier, et dont les cœurs, pleins de scepticisme, ne font que vaciller d’incertitude. 9.45 . They alone ask leave of thee who believe not in Allah and the Last Day , and whose hearts feel doubt , so in their doubt they waver . .
æóáóæú ÃóÑóÇÏõæÇú ÇáúÎõÑõæÌó
áÃóÚóÏøõæÇú áóåõ ÚõÏøóÉð æóáóÜßöä ßóÑöåó Çááøåõ ÇäÈöÚóÇËóåõãú ÝóËóÈøóØóåõãú
æóÞöíáó ÇÞúÚõÏõæÇú ãóÚó ÇáúÞóÇÚöÏöíäó 9.46. Walaw aradoo alkhurooja laaAAaddoo lahu AAuddatan walakin kariha Allahu inbiAAathahum fathabbatahum waqeela oqAAudoo maAAa alqaAAideena 9.46. S’ils avaient réellement voulu partir au combat, ils s’y seraient préparés. Mais Dieu les en jugea indignes et les rendit apathiques et indolents. Aussi s’entendirent-ils dire : «Restez donc avec les invalides et les impotents !» 9.46 . And if they had wished to go forth they would assuredly have made ready some equipment , but Allah was averse to their being sent forth and held them back and ( it was said unto them ) : Sit ye with the sedentary!

ÇáúÝöÊúäóÉó æóÝöíßõãú ÓóãøóÇÚõæäó áóåõãú æóÇááøåõ Úóáöíãñ ÈöÇáÙøóÇáöãöíäó 9.47. Law kharajoo feekum ma zadookum illa khabalan walaawdaAAoo khilalakum yabghoonakumu alfitnata wafeekum sammaAAoona lahum waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena 9.47. D’ailleurs, s’ils étaient sortis avec vous, ils n’auraient fait qu’ajouter à votre trouble et que semer, par leurs manœuvres, la discorde dans vos rangs, d’autant plus qu’il y a parmi vous des gens disposés à écouter tout ce qu’ils disent. Dieu connaît bien les comploteurs. 9.47 . Had they gone forth among you they had added to you naught save trouble and had hurried to and fro among you , seeking to cause sedition among you ; and among you there are some who would have listened to them . Allah Is Aware of evil-doers .
áóÞóÏö ÇÈúÊóÛóæõÇú ÇáúÝöÊúäóÉó ãöä ÞóÈúáõ æóÞóáøóÈõæÇú áóßó ÇáÃõãõæÑó ÍóÊøóì
ÌóÇÁ ÇáúÍóÞøõ æóÙóåóÑó ÃóãúÑõ Çááøåö æóåõãú ßóÇÑöåõæäó 9.48. Laqadi ibtaghawoo alfitnata min qablu waqallaboo laka al-omoora hatta jaa alhaqqu wathahara amru Allahi wahum karihoona 9.48. Ils ont déjà, auparavant, cherché à semer la discorde entre vous et à contrarier tes projets par leurs intrigues jusqu’au jour où la Vérité se manifesta et où l’ordre de Dieu fut instauré, en dépit de leur hostilité. 9.48 . Aforetime they sought to cause sedition and raised difficulties for thee till the Truth came and the decree of Allah was made manifest , though they were loth .
æóãöäúåõã ãøóä íóÞõæáõ ÇÆúÐóä áøöí æóáÇó ÊóÝúÊöäøöí ÃóáÇó Ýöí ÇáúÝöÊúäóÉö
ÓóÞóØõæÇú æóÅöäøó Ìóåóäøóãó áóãõÍöíØóÉñ ÈöÇáúßóÇÝöÑöíäó
9.49. Waminhum man yaqoolu i/than lee wala taftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wa-inna jahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena 9.49. Tel d’entre eux vient te dire : «Dispense-moi de la guerre ! Ne m’expose pas à la tentation !» Mais cette tentation, n’y sont-ils pas déjà tombés? En vérité, la Géhenne cerne les négateurs de toutes parts. 9.49 . Of them is he who saith : Grant me leave ( to stay at home ) and tempt me not . Surely it is into temptation that they ( thus ) have fallen . Lo! hell is all around the disbelievers .

æøóåõãú ÝóÑöÍõæäó 9.50. In tusibka hasanatun tasu/hum wa-in tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathna amrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona 9.50. Obtiens-tu un succès? Ils en éprouvent du dépit , mais si tu subis un revers, ils s’écrient : «Heureusement que nous avions pris d’avance nos précautions !» Et ils se retirent pleins de joie. 9.50 . If good befalleth thee ( O Muhammad ) it afflicteth them , and if calamity befalleth thee , they say : We took precaution , and they turn away well pleased .
