ÕóÇÏöÞöíäó 2.111. Waqaloo lan yadkhula aljannata illa man kana hoodan aw nasara tilka amaniyyuhum qul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena 2.111. Les gens des Écritures disent : «Seuls les juifs et les chrétiens entreront au Paradis», exprimant ainsi leurs propres désirs. Réponds-leur : «Apportez-en la preuve, si vous êtes véridiques !» 2.111 . And they say : None entereth Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian . These are their own desires . Say : Bring your proof ( of what ye state ) if ye are truthful .

Ýóáóåõ ÃóÌúÑõåõ ÚöäÏó ÑóÈøöåö æóáÇó ÎóæúÝñ Úóáóíúåöãú æóáÇó åõãú íóÍúÒóäõæäó 2.112. Bala man aslama wajhahu lillahi wahuwa muhsinun falahu ajruhu AAinda rabbihi wala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona 2.112. La vérité est que quiconque se soumet à la Volonté divine tout en faisant le bien, c’est celui-là qui recevra sa récompense du Seigneur et qui n’aura à éprouver ni crainte ni peine. 2.112 . Nay , but whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good , his reward is with his Lord ; and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve .

ÝöíãóÇ ßóÇäõæÇú Ýöíåö íóÎúÊóáöÝõæäó 2.113. Waqalati alyahoodu laysati alnnasara AAala shay-in waqalati alnnasara laysati alyahoodu AAala shay-in wahum yatloona alkitaba kathalika qala allatheena la yaAAlamoona mithla qawlihim faAllahu yahkumu baynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehi yakhtalifoona 2.113. Les juifs affirment : «Les chrétiens sont dans l’erreur !» , et les chrétiens, de leur côté, affirment : «Les juifs sont dans l’erreur !», bien que les uns et les autres récitent les Écritures. Et les mêmes propos ont été repris par les non-initiés aux Écritures. Dieu tranchera sur leur différend, le Jour du Jugement dernier. 2.113 . And the Jews say the Christians follow nothing ( true ) , and the Christians say the Jews follow nothing ( true ) ; yet both are readers of the Scripture . Even thus speak those who know not . Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differ .

æóáóåõãú Ýöí ÇáÂÎöÑóÉö ÚóÐóÇÈñ ÚóÙöíãñ 2.114. Waman athlamu mimman manaAAa masajida Allahi an yuthkara feeha ismuhu wasaAAa fee kharabiha ola-ika ma kana lahum an yadkhulooha illa kha-ifeena lahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee al-akhirati AAathabun AAatheemun 2.114. Y a-t-il pires prévaricateurs que ceux qui empêchent le Nom de Dieu de retentir dans Ses temples et qui œuvrent pour les détruire, alors que de pareilles gens ne devraient y pénétrer qu’en tremblant de peur? Aussi l’ignominie sera-t-elle leur lot dans ce monde, et les pires tourments les attendront dans la vie future. 2.114 . And who doth greater wrong than he who forbiddeth the approach to the sanctuaries of Allah lest His name should be mentioned therein , and striveth for their ruin? As for such , it was never meant that they should enter them except in fear . Theirs in the world is ignominy and theirs in the Hereafter is an awful doom .

ÝóÃóíúäóãóÇ ÊõæóáøõæÇú ÝóËóãøó æóÌúåõ Çááøåö Åöäøó Çááøåó æóÇÓöÚñ Úóáöíãñ 2.115. Walillahi almashriqu waalmaghribu faaynama tuwalloo fathamma wajhu Allahi inna Allaha wasiAAun AAaleemun 2.115. C’est à Dieu qu’appartiennent et le Levant et le Couchant. Ainsi, de quelque côté que vous vous tourniez, vous trouverez toujours la Face du Seigneur, car Il est Omniprésent et Omniscient. 2.115 . Unto Allah belong the East and the West , and whither- soever ye turn , there is Allah ' s countenance . Lo! Allah is All Embracing , All Knowing .
æóÞóÇáõæÇú ÇÊøóÎóÐó Çááøåõ æóáóÏÇð ÓõÈúÍóÇäóåõ Èóá áøóåõ ãóÇ Ýöí ÇáÓøóãóÇæóÇÊö
æóÇáÃóÑúÖö ßõáøñ áøóåõ ÞóÇäöÊõæäó 2.116. Waqaloo itakhatha Allahu waladan subhanahu bal lahu ma fee alssamawati waal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoona 2.116. Ils disent que Dieu S’est donné un fils. Tant s’en faut ! Sa gloire ne saurait y consentir ! C’est Lui le Maître des Cieux et de la Terre, et c’est devant Lui que toute la Création s’incline , 2.116 . And they say : Allah hath taken unto Himself a Son . Be He glorified! Nay , but whatsoever is in the heaven and the earth , His . All are subservient unto Him .

æóÅöÐóÇ ÞóÖóì ÃóãúÑÇð ÝóÅöäøóãóÇ íóÞõæáõ áóåõ ßõä Ýóíóßõæäõ 2.117. BadeeAAu alssamawati waal-ardi wa-itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu 2.117. c’est Lui le Créateur intégral des Cieux et de la Terre, et qui, quand Il décrète une chose, il Lui suffit de dire : «Sois !» et la chose est. 2.117 . The Originator of the heavens and the earth! When He decreeth a thing , He saith unto it only : Be! and it is .

ÞóÏú ÈóíøóäøóÇ ÇáÂíóÇÊö áöÞóæúãò íõæÞöäõæäó 2.118. Waqala allatheena la yaAAlamoona lawla yukallimuna Allahu aw ta/teena ayatun kathalika qala allatheena min qablihim mithla qawlihim tashabahat quloobuhum qad bayyanna al-ayati liqawmin yooqinoona 2.118. Les incrédules disent : «Pourquoi Dieu ne nous adresse-t-Il pas directement la parole ou ne nous envoie-t-Il pas un miracle?» Ainsi parlaient déjà ceux qui les avaient devancés. Même raisonnement, même mentalité ! Nous avons pourtant donné suffisamment de preuves à ceux qui croient réellement. 2.118 . And those who have no knowledge say : Why doth not Allah speak unto us , or some sign come unto us? Even thus , as they now speak , spake those ( who were ) before them . Their hearts are all alike . We have made clear the revelations for people who are sure .

ÈöÇáúÍóÞøö ÈóÔöíÑÇð æóäóÐöíÑÇð æóáÇó ÊõÓúÃóáõ Úóäú ÃóÕúÍóÇÈö ÇáúÌóÍöíãö 2.119. Inna arsalnaka bialhaqqi basheeran wanatheeran wala tus-alu Aaan as-habi aljaheemi 2.119. Prophète ! Nous t’avons envoyé, porteur d’un message de Vérité, en annonciateur de bonnes nouvelles et en avertisseur. Tu n’auras cependant aucun compte à rendre pour ceux qui sont voués à l’Enfer. 2.119 . Lo! We have sent thee ( O Muhammad ) with the truth , a bringer of glad tidings and a warner . And thou wilt not be asked about the owners of hell fire .

Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu wala alnnasara hatta tattabiAAa millatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhuda wala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaaka mina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin 2.120. Tu ne seras agréé ni des juifs ni des chrétiens que lorsque tu auras suivi leur confession. Dis : «Il n’est d’autre voie de la vérité que Celle de Dieu !» Cependant, si par hasard tu accédais à leurs désirs, après la science que tu as reçue, tu te trouverais devant Dieu sans défense ni secours. 2.120 . And the Jews will not be pleased with thee , nor will the Christians , till thou follow their creed . Say : Lo! the guidance of Allah ( Himself ) is Guidance . And if thou shouldst follow their desires after the knowledge which hath come unto thee , then wouldst thou have from Allah no protecting friend nor helper .
