Quant aux infidèles, il leur est égal que tu les avertisses ou que tu ne les avertisses pas. Ils sont rebelles à toute croyance, 2.6 . As for the disbelievers , whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them ; they believe not .

Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihim waAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatun walahum AAathabun AAatheemun 2.7. et Dieu a scellé leur cœur et leur entendement. De même qu’un voile leur barre la vue, et ils sont voués à un terrible châtiment. 2.7 . Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts , and on their eyes there is a covering . Theirs will be an awful doom .

And of mankind are some who say : We believe in Allah and the Last Day , when they believe not .

æóãóÇ íóÔúÚõÑõæäó 2.9. YukhadiAAoona Allaha waallatheena amanoo wama yakhdaAAoona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona 2.9. Ils cherchent seulement à tromper Dieu et les véritables croyants, mais en réalité ils ne trompent qu’eux-mêmes, sans en avoir conscience. 2.9 . They think to beguile Allah and those who believe , and they beguile nonesave themselves ; but they perceive not .

Ces gens-là ont le cœur rongé par un mal profond que Dieu laisse s’aggraver , de même qu’un châtiment douloureux leur sera infligé, pour prix de leur mensonge, 2.10 . In their hearts is a disease , and Allah increaseth their disease . A painful doom theirs because they lie .
