London 2017 athletics : Moroccan athlete Fouad El Kaam qualified for men's 1500 m final

Moroccan athlete Fouad El Kaam was qualified on Friday in London for the 1500m final at the London 2017 World Championships.

El Kaam earned the 5th place in his series with a time of 3 min 38s 64 / 100th, while his compatriot Abdelaati Iguider was eliminated after crossing the distance in the first series in 3: 40.76.

Moroccan athlete Soufiane El Bakkali won the silver medal of the 3000m steeplechase at the World Athletics Championships held in the British capital until 13 August.

El Bakkali, 21, offered Morocco his first medal at the World Athletics Championships in London.
